Our Story

After my wife and I had been married a couple of years we started to talk about kids. I told her if we every had a boy I would like to name him Robert Quentin Nehring. She was alright with this idea, after all her father’s name is Robert. A few weeks later, after she had started to become emotionally attached to the name I told her the rest of the story. I figure a boy raised in Kansas city on a steady diet of BBQ could always make a living selling ribs—especially if his nickname is Bobby Que. So a few years later I bottled my sauce on April 9th. On April 26th we found out that our first child will be a boy. She agreed to let me name him Robert Quentin as long as we call him Que or Quentin and not Bobby Que.
